Decromin
You've found yourself in a strange world where polyominos keep appearing! You must place the polyominos, making sure they don't overlap.
You can place a polyomino by clicking or tapping, or use arrow keys or WASD and then space. You can also rotate a polyomino before placing it using Q or E (first and third key on the top row with letters), or by clicking/tapping the buttons on the screen. (The control scheme I used most for testing was mouse (actually touch pad) to place pieces, and Q/E to rotate. The game is compatible with touch screens but I haven't done as much testing there.)
In type B, you have a limited time to place each polyomino. If you don't place it in time, the game will place it where it currently is. If it can't go there, you lose.
Each round has 6 polyominos, with a decreasing number of tiles.
When the round is over, all tiles with six dots on them will break.
When a tile breaks, it starts a chain reaction where any adjacent tiles with the same number or one fewer will break.
If a 1 tile breaks, then all tiles next to it will break regardless of their number.
Try to break as many as possible for points and to clear off space for the next round.
Tips:
- Only the first polyomino in each round is random. Pay attention and see if you can figure out how to predict the other polyominos.
- Try to make a path to the low-numbered tiles early.
- Start with Type A game.
- Lower numbers will usually appear near the middle of polyominos. Plan around this.
My current high score is 4698 for type A, 2016 for type B (but that was before I made it a bit easier).
